IDENTILOCK for Springfield Armory

It works as advertised.Simple to understand instructions. I do have concerns about how resistant it would be to tampering. Of course I don’t want to try to break it. I hoped it would be a metal lock and not plastic.

Fits gun well, functions reliably and mounted using heavy duty double back velcro strips. Only request is to come up with a way to securely mount in a vehicle.

With the Identilock I'm able to keep my weapon ready within seconds and yet protect from others being able to access and use. The Identilock keeps curious children and grandchildren from accessing in case they somehow would find a staged weapon (which they have not) and at the same time lets me quickly remove the lock if the situation would arise. I've even "drop tested" at a range (with the barrel pointing in a safe direction) and satisfied that the weapon would not discharge. One of the safest if not the safest means of firearm safety that exists today. I've been so impressed that I purchased one for each of the weapons I stage in my house.

This is without question the best bio lock around. It has the best and quickest recognition I have ever encountered. It does exactly as it claims and it virtually instantaneous and at the same time exact on its identification. I have my pointer and middle finger on my right have programmed in and it unlocks everytime, but not with any other finger or thumb. Nor when tested on anyone else. It stays charged for months at a time. It says to charge it every three months or whenever the red light starts blinking to let you know it’s low. But I’ve had this in my car console for 6 months before I charged it again. Still worked opened just fine after six months before I charged it. Can’t say enough about this product.
